Teen charged in Orléans commercial robbery

A 19-year-old is facing one count of robbery after an incident at a business on Forest Valley Drive in Orléans.
Ottawa police responded to a commercial robbery in progress on Forest Valley Drive near Orléans Boulevard, around 10:30 p.m., Sunday.
Officers say a masked man walked into a business and told an employee that he was robbing it. The suspect then took bagels and cigarettes before taking off on foot.
The man was found nearby and arrested.
Aiden Barter, 19, has been charged with robbery.
He was released on an undertaking and is scheduled to appear in court on June 23.
