Drugs, gun, cash seized during search of home in Lowertown

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is charging three people after finding drugs, money and a firearm in a search on Friel Street.

A search warrant was executed on Wednesday night.

Hussein Deria, 27, Adil Nasir, 27, and Saed Aden, 28, all of Ottawa, were charged with:

  • Possession of Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon with ammunition
  • Careless storage of a firearm
  • Possession of a weapon
  • Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
  • Unauthorized possession of a firearm
  • Possession of a prohibited weapon obtained by commission of offence
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime

They are all scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
