OPP charge 82-year-old in Crysler crash injuring two pedestrians

An 82-year-old woman is facing one count of careless driving causing bodily harm after a crash in Crysler, which sent two people to hospital.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to the scene of the incident on Fourth Street around 10 a.m. on June 26.

Investigators found that two pedestrians and two unoccupied vehicles were hit by a reversing vehicle before it came to a stop.

One woman suffered serious, but not-life-threatening injuries. The second pedestrian also suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver was not injured.

The driver was released by police with a court date on October 13.
