Second person dies in separate single vehicle collision near Hawkesbury over weekend; driver of first collision identified

Another person has died in a single-vehicle collision just 15 minutes west of Hawkesbury over the weekend.
OPP say the collision happened on Ritchance Road in Champlain Township Sunday at 3:30 a.m, just east of Blue Corner Road.
According to OPP, the car had left the roadway and entered a ditch.
A 48-year-old woman was driving alone in the vehicle and was pronounced dead on scene.
The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.
Ritchman Road remains closed as officers investigate.
This collision follows another that happened on County Road-17, just easy of County Road-4, which is only about 15 minutes away from Sunday’s collision.
According to the OPP, 21-year-old Fanny Dallaire of Vankleek Hill had left the roadway at around 1 a.m. Saturday and rolled over into a ditch.
Dallaire, who was alone, was pronounced dead at the scene.
