Another person at the city run Carling Family Shelter has tested positive for COVID-19, bringing the total number of cases there to nine.
Last week, the city confirmed eight positive cases of the virus in four families living at the facility.
On Wednesday, another person from one of those four families was also confirmed to have the novel coronavirus.
All families in the shelter currently without the virus have been moved into isolation and will remain there until Monday.
Currently, 12 families remain on-site at the Carling Family Shelter. At the beginning of the pandemic, a number of families at the facility were moved to hotels and motels to create more physical distancing at the shelter.
In order to prevent further spread of COVID-19, additional preventative measures have been implemented.
