Results of Barrhaven suspicious death investigation could take several months

The Ottawa Police Service's Homicide Unit is still investigating a suspicious death on Strandherd Drive, but says it could take months to figure out exactly what happened.

Officers found a man dead on Strandherd Drive, between Greenbank Road and Longfields Drive in Barrhaven, on Sunday, August 23.

After interviewing multiple witnesses, investigators say a toxicology test has been requested to determine if the man's death was a result of a drug overdose. 

The results of the test are expected to take several months to complete.
