Eight additional city run arenas opening Tuesday for community use

The City of Ottawa is set to open eight more arenas for team and community rentals starting next week.

As of September 8, the arenas listed below will be open:

Bob MacQuarrie Recreation Complex – Orléans – Roger Sénécal Arena and Elizabeth Manley Arena
Ray Friel Recreation Complex – Arena 2
Sandy Hill Arena
Fred Barrett Arena – East Ice Pad
Bell Centennial Arena
Jack Charron Arena
CARDELREC Recreation Complex Goulbourn – Katie Xu & Jack Fan Arena

The city says more arenas may open at the end of the month, based on public demand.
