Changes are being made at the Brewer COVID-19 Assessment Centre due to high demand.
In a tweet, Capital Ward councillor Shawn Menard said new porta-potties would be installed for those waiting in line.
A temporary tent will also be set up on the south side of the arena.
Currently, the assessment centre doesn't require a referral or an appointment, but Menard said he continues to work with city staff and the Ottawa Hospital on how to shift to an appointment based system.

The news comes as the centre expands hours due to an increase in volume.
