The hazards of dressing in the dark; Ottawa’s top doctor admits to humorous wardrobe snafu

Ottawa's top doctor isn't shy when it comes to sharing the daily struggles that come from being a busy, working mom.
In a tweet Wednesday morning, Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr. Vera Etches admitted to dressing in the dark, being distracted as she tried to set up a surprise for her sons and being in a rush to talk with our Rob Snow for his daily talk show.
In the midst of all the madness, she admittedly forgot to finish getting dressed.
Dr. Etches threw on her tights and rain jacket and made it all the way to Ottawa City Hall before realizing she had forgotten her skirt.
She then added that it might be 'time for another break' — one she no doubt deserves.
You can hear Dr. Etches interview on the Rob Snow Show Wednesday morning at 9:15 a.m.
Oh my goodness! I was dressing in the dark this morning and distracted by setting up a surprise for my boys, rushing to talk with Rob Snow on 1310 News…but I still can't believe I made it to City Hall without my skirt on under my rain jacket! Yikes! Time for another break…
