Ottawa police charge man for possession of child pornography

A man in the west end was arrested and charged with two counts of possession of child pornography by Ottawa police.
According to police’s Internet and Child Exploitation Unit (ICE), an investigation was opened up in June, and a warrant was executed on July 29 at a home in the city’s west end.
Police did not provide a specific location.
No person was taken into custody at the time.
Thursday, however, police arrested 38-year-old Patrick Haley of Ottawa.
He is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
