Whole Foods Lansdowne employee tests positive for COVID-19

An employee at the Lansdowne Whole Foods Market is in quarantine after testing positive for COVID-19.
The store confirmed the positive test, Wednesday, October 7.
While a store spokesperson did not specify the last date the employee worked, they say the entire store has undergone a professional deep cleaning and disinfection.
“Whole Foods Market has rolled out extensive measures to keep people safe in our stores, including social distancing and crowd control measures, requiring temperature checks and face masks for anyone working in our stores, providing and requiring face coverings for all customers, and enhanced daily cleanliness and disinfection protocols,” explains the spokesperson.
The store is also working on contact tracing and a formal notification processes for those working at Whole Foods Lansdowne stores.
