Cornwall man killed in motorcycle crash near Cardinal

One man has been killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash near Cardinal.

According to Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), the crash happened shortly after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, October 14, on County Road 2, between Galop Lane and Marine Station Road, in South Dundas Township. 

The OPP say an eastbound motorcycle left the roadway and the driver was thrown from the bike. 

The driver, a 50-year-old Cornwall man, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released the identity of the victim.  

The investigation into the cause of the crash continues.
