Ottawa man scores more than $79K playing football pool

A 43-year-old Ottawa man is looking forward to investing most of his winnings from a football pool ticket, which netted him $79,814.60.
Iman Mashali-Ferdows says he watched all of the weekend's games, so he knew he was winning.
“I was anxious to check how much I won the next day — it was hard to sleep that night.”
When he realized how much he won he was shocked and told his sister right away.
“She was unbelievably happy for me,” Mashali-Ferdows smiled.
The local salesman says he plans to use his winnings wisely.
“I’ll invest most of it,” he said. “This is such a surreal feeling. I've worked hard my whole life and to win this is just unbelievable.”
Mashali-Ferdows bought his winning ticket at Quickie on Heron Road in Ottawa.
