Support staff at the University of Ottawa are officially walking off the job.
After bargaining for nineteen months, a tentative agreement was not reached by the deadline of 12 a.m. Monday, October 19.
The university presented a final offer to the PSUO-SSUO bargaining team last week, but that was rejected,
More than 1,300 support staff, who provide support and services to students and professors at the university, will be on a full withdrawal of services until a tentative deal is reached.
No new negotiation dates have been scheduled at this time.
