Ottawa woman arrested for six residential break and enters in city’s west end

Ottawa police say they have charged a woman in relation to six break and enters that happened in the west end. 

Police say the break and enters date back to September 14, and involved the suspect entering homes through unlocked doors during the daytime and night. 

The woman allegedly stole small valuables and credit cards, and would use the credit cards afterwards to commit fraudulent purchases at nearby businesses. 

Jamie-Lynn Pryor, 44, of Ottawa, was charged with:

  • Breaking entering to commit theft (six counts)
  • Fraud/theft-related charges for stealing credit cards (seven counts)
  • Using a stolen credit card (seven counts)
  • Breach of undertaking (eight counts)

Pryor appear in court yesterday.
