Grenville OPP charge another man in connection with illegal online cannabis service

A North York man is facing multiple drug charges after a traffic stop in North Grenville, in which Ontario Provincial Police officers uncovered branded and professionally packaged cannabis products.
On Friday, November 13, the Grenville County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Highway 416, near the Rideau River Road exit, just north of Kemptville.
A search of the vehicle turned up more than $15,100 worth of cannabis products, including marijuana, vape pens and edibles.
A 25-year-old was arrested and charged with the following offences:
- Possession of over 30g dried cannabis in a public place
- Distribute over 30g of dried cannabis
- Distribute illicit cannabis
- Possession of cannabis for the purpose of distributing
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
He was released and is due in court in Brockville on Friday, January 29, 2021.
Renfrew OPP officers arrested an Ottawa man back on October 30, after they stopped a vehicle associated with an online cannabis delivery service operating under the name Royal Kush Company.
