City of Ottawa issuing parking ban amid snowfall

Ahead of the snowfall forecasted for Ottawa, the City of Ottawa has issued a parking ban taking effect Monday morning at 7 a.m in order to complete winter road operations.

In preparation, the city is asking residents to move their vehicles off the road and take time to clear out their catch basins of any leaves or debris in order to allow rain or melting snow to flow off the road faster, preventing water pooling or freezing.
