UPDATE: Hydro Ottawa restores power to nearly 17,000 in west Ottawa

UPDATE, 4:55 p.m..: Hydro Ottawa has fully restored power to all residents and businesses affected by an outage, Wednesday afternoon.

UPDATE, 4:32 p.m.: There are now four outages affecting 5,496 Hydro Ottawa customers in the area.

UPDATE, 4:07 p.m.: There are now 12 outages affecting 11,329 Hydro Ottawa customers in the area.

Hydro Ottawa is working to restore power to 16,980 of its customers after it says there was a loss of supply from the provincial grid.
The 18 outages happened just after 3 p.m., Wednesday, February 3, and is affecting the neighbourhoods of Westboro, Lincoln Fields, Woodroffe and Baseline.
According to Hydro Ottawa's outage centre, it estimates power to be back to normal in the affected areas by 5 p.m.
