Calabogie Peaks Resort given green light to reopen this week

Calabogie Peaks Resort is reopening to skiers as the Ontario government starts to gradually ease pandemic restrictions.
It's one of two Ontario ski hills being permitted to open, Thursday, February 11; Batawa Ski Hill in Quinte West has also been given the go-ahead.
As part of its reopening plan, the province has confirmed Ontario ski hills are allowed to reopen in all regions, even grey lockdown regions, as health units switch back to the colour-coded restriction system.
All provincial ski hills must implement a variety of public health measures in order to reopen, including mandatory masks, social distancing and capacity restrictions.
Ontario ski resorts were forced to close, along with other non-essential businesses, when the province-wide lockdown came into effect on December 26, 2020.
Good things take time… Excited to announce that with today's news from the Ontario Government we will reopen the ski trails on Thursday February 11th, 2021.
