Sexual assault charge laid after incidents at east Ottawa Tim Hortons

A 22-year-old Ottawa man is facing charges, including sexual assault, after an investigation into incidents which police say happened between July and October of last year.

Investigators say the incidents involved a person under the age of 18 and happened at an east Ottawa Tim Hortons, where the suspect was an acting manager at the time.  

Sahilpreet Singh has been charged with:

  • Sexual assault
  • Sexual exploitation

Police believe there are other victims, and are asking anyone with information to call the Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5944. Tips may also be sent electronically to SACA@ottawapolice.ca.
