FOUND: Ottawa police need help finding missing 77-year-old man who could be in Montreal

UPDATE, Thursday, March 25: Brian Grenier has been found safe, according to Ottawa police.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is asking for public's help to find a missing 77-year-old man. 

Brian Grenier, of Ottawa, was last seen in the ByWard Market area on February 4, and then around 6 p.m. that day at the Montreal Central Train Station in Downtown Montreal.

Police say there are concerns for his health and well being.

Grenier is described as:

  • White
  • 5' 5'' (165 cm)
  • 160 lbs (73 kg)
  • Short, thinning grey hair
  • Blue eyes
  • Last seen wearing a black winter jacket with blue sleeves, a blue and pink knitted winter hat with a pompom on top, dark grey pants, a black shirt, black shoes and a white face mask

Anyone with information about his current whereabouts is asked to call the Ottawa police at 613-236-1222.

Anyone with any information that could assist investigators can contact the Missing Persons Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 2355, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., daily.
