A 33-year-old Ottawa man knows what he'll be doing with at least some of his $100,000 winnings.
Kenrick Kilmartin has claimed his prize after playing the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation'S (OLG) Instant Triple Play.
The father of two said, when he played his ticket, he knew he won something but wasn’t sure of the amount.
“I asked my friend to scan my ticket on his phone and that’s when I realized I was a big winner — I was very excited,” explained Kilmartin.
“I’ll invest some and save some for my children,” he said.
The winning ticket was purchased at Canadian Tire Gas Bar on Highway 401 West in Mallorytown.
