Ten employees at a grocery store in Orléans have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past two weeks.

The most recent employees of the Metro, located at 6509 Jeanne D'Arc Boulevard, east of Orléans Boulevard, to test positive for the virus informed the company of their results, Sunday.

Grocery store officials say those three employees last worked on April 23 and 25, while another employee tested positive on April 23. Their last day of work at that location was on April 16.

Metro says two other employees tested positive for COVID-19 on April 19, with their last days at work on April 10 and 17, respectively.

Three others tested positive earlier in the month for the novel coronavirus. Their last days at work were April 11, 14, and 15 and finally, one other tested positive for the virus on April 13. Their last day at that Metro location was April 11.

Shoppers are asked to monitor for symptoms, self-isolate, and get tested for COVID-19 if symptoms do develop.
