CFL unveils full 2021 season schedule; Redblacks first home game set for August 28

The Ottawa Redblacks will officially be back at TD Place this summer.
Following an announcement from the Government of Ontario on Monday, June 14, that it is accelerating its return-to-play plan for professional and elite amateur leagues, the Canadian Football League (CFL) is releasing its full 2021 schedule in which each team is slated to play 14 games.
The Redblacks kick off their season in Edmonton on August 7. The team's first game at home comes on August 28 versus the B.C. Lions.
Ottawa will enjoy byes on weeks two, seven and 16 of the 17-week CFL season. It's longest stretch of play without a break will come between September 22 and November 6, in which the team will play eight games.
The Reblacks' longest home stand of the season is set for October 6 to October 11 when they get back-to-back games at TD Place versus Toronto and Montreal.
The Grey Cup is scheduled to be played on December 12 in Hamilton.
