Local Legend: Hockey Night In Canada reporter calls Ottawa home when not at dream job

Sportsnet Central Host and Hockey Night In Canada Rinkside Reporter Kyle Bukauskas may have been born in Campbell River, British Columbia, but now calls Ottawa home when not in an arena.
He credits landing this dream job to being in the right place at the right time.
“I wasn't on the air right away,” explains Bukauskas. “After learning the ropes and getting to a point where everyone was comfortable with at least giving me a shot on the air, it's been such a fun ride and I'm very greatful to be able to do what I'm doing here now.”
His advice for anyone looking to get into broadcasting or excel in their field of choice is simply to be someone that's easy to work with.
“My colleague Elliotte Friedman always likes to say, 'The right people are always watching,' and I totally believe and buy into that as well.”
