Two men were arrested following a three-month-long investigation into drug trafficking in the Castle Heights/Cyrville area.

Police say the two men were arrested Tuesday afternoon in the 1100 block of St-Laurent Blvd., near Queen Mary Street.

The Street Crime Unit, with the help of the Vanier/Overbrook Neighbourhood Resources Team, arrested the two men without incident.

Officers seized a loaded glock with several round of magazines, as well as cocaine, oxycodone pills, amphetamine pills, Canadian currency, cellphones and a digital scale.

The two men arrested are Sabir Belway, 22, and Dawitt Belway, 20, both of Ottawa.

They are scheduled to appear in an Ottawa court today.
