Toddler suffers life-threatening injuries in two-vehicle crash near Cornwall

The Ontario Provincial Police continue to investigate a serious two-vehicle crash in South Glengarry Township that left three people injured, including a young child.
Around 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 5, officers responded to the crash in the intersection of County Road 19 and County Road 20, about 15 minutes northeast of Cornwall.
Police say a pickup truck was southbound on County Road 20 when, for reasons currently under investigation, entered the intersection of County road 19 and collided with another vehicle.
The South Glengarry Fire department responded to the scene, as extrication was required.
Police say the occupants of both motor vehicles were taken to hospital. A passenger and a two-year-old child were airlifted to Ottawa with life-threatening injuries.
