Schools remain open in the region.

The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority is running all of its school buses, but says students can expect some weather-related delays.

Environment Canada has issued a freezing rain warning for Ottawa North, Kanata and Orléans, with precipitation forecast to start as snow or ice pellets during the early afternoon on Wednesday, December, 15, then change over to freezing rain.
