Queensway Carleton Hospital (QCH) is reopening its onsite COVID-19 vaccine clinic to increase the city’s COVID-19 vaccination capacity.
The hospital announced Monday, December 20, it will also be extending its Care and Testing Centre on Moodie Drive until at least March 2022.
All eligible adult Ottawa residents are able to come to QCH’s vaccine clinic. Residents 18 years and older can book their appointment through the Ontario provincial booking system.
In addition to the work at Moodie Drive, the hospital says its offsite unit at Fairfield Inn will also continue until March, with the potential to stay open longer.
“To further stop the spread of COVID-19, it is important that everyone continues to follow the guidelines set in place to keep us safe and gets vaccinated when they are able to,” reads a statement from QCH. “Getting your booster dose will further protect you from COVID-19 and has been proven to be more effective than two doses.”
