Getting your COVID-19 booster shot is as easy as walking into a community vaccination clinic near you.
On Friday, January 14, Ottawa Public Health (OPH) announced that several community clinics in the city are now accepting walk-ins of eligible people still needing their first, second or third dose of a vaccine.
This, OPH said, is because booster uptake in the city has slowed, so slots are now open for walk-ins.
Community clinics accepting walk-ins include:
- EY Centre
- Nepean Sportsplex
- Former St. Patrick’s Intermediate School at 1485 Heron Rd.
- Rideauview Community Centre
- University of Ottawa’s Minto Sports Complex
- JH Putman School
- Eva James Memorial Centre
- Orleans Ruddy Family YMCA-YWCA
