Three people in Kemptville, Manotick arrested on drug trafficking charges

A police investigation resulted in the seizure of suspected cocaine and oxycodone, among other evidence.

An executed search warrant in Kemptville and Manotick has led to the arrest of three individuals in connection to drug trafficking.

The East Region Community Street Crime Unit, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Tactical Rescue Unit, East Region Emergency Response Team and OPP Canine Unit executed the warrant on Thursday, March 3 in both communities, where they seized drugs, cash and items typically associated with drug trafficking.

The OPP Provincial Forfeiture Unit is also helping with the investigation.

The seizure results in a quantity of suspected cocaine and oxycodone, with an estimated street value of over $5,500.

The following individuals were charged as a result of the investigation:

Abdulaziz Al-Enzi, 35, from Kemptville:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine;
  • Trafficking a schedule I substance – cocaine;
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000 – in Canada

Emily-Ann Sousa, 30, from Kemptville:

  • Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine;
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000 – Canada
