Registration opening for annual ‘Cleaning up the Capital Campaign’

Spring is just around the corner and that means Ottawa's 'Cleaning up the Capital Campaign' is back!
Starting on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, residents who want to help keep the capital clean and green can register for the 29th installment of the annual campaign.
Those who want to take part can call 311 or fill out a registration form online at ottawa.ca/clean. The online form populates an interactive map, showing which locations have been chosen for cleanup projects.
Cleanup kits, which include garbage bags and gloves, will be made available for pick-up at one of seven city facilities.
Key Spring Campaign Dates:
- March 15: Registration opens
- April 15 to May 31: Cleaning the Capital spring campaign
- April 22: .Earth Day 2022
- April 30: Registration closes
- June 15: Deadline to submit cleanup reports online
The city says councillors will be kept informed of all cleanup projects taking place in their wards ward during the campaign through weekly lists beginning Monday, April 11.
