Victim identified as 24-year-old woman in south-end Ottawa homicide

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating the death of a woman in the 1400 block of Heatherington Road in south Ottawa.

Police have identified the victim as Marie Gabriel, 24, of Ottawa.

OPS confirmed to CityNews Ottawa that a call for service was placed at roughly 9:43 a.m. Monday morning and the woman's body was found in a residence. No other details are available at this time.
