Fullerton wins second term as Kanata-Carleton MPP

Merrilee Fullerton has won the riding of Kanata-Carleton.
The Progressive Conservative (PC) candidate was first elected as the member of provincial parliament (MPP) in 2018, and will serve her second term as MPP for Kanata-Carleton at Queen's Park.
She won 45.8 of the votes, unofficially, as reported by Elections Ontario, on June 2, 2022.
Fullerton initially practiced medicine from the Carleton Place and District Hospital before going into private practice as a family physician in the Ottawa area. She practiced medicine in Ontario for more than 30 years, and also spent time in Alberta during her medical training.
Fullerton has been the minister of children, community and social service since June of 2021. She previously served as minister of training, colleges and universities and minister of long-term care.
