The New Democratic Party’s Chandra Pasma narrowly takes the seat for the hot riding of Ottawa West-Nepean.

According to Election Ontario’s official percentage calculation, Pasma held about 37 per cent of the vote on June 2, 2022, beating incumbent Jeremy Roberts, who is with the Progressive Conservative party, by less than two-and-a-half percent.

Last time, Roberts held slightly over 32 per cent of the vote.

As per Pasma’s website, she was a researcher with the Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE).
