Kingston resident charged with impaired driving

The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a female following a disturbance in the city of Pembroke. 

Shortly after 4 p.m. on July 26, 2022, OPP officers were called to a disturbance at a business located on Mackay Street. During the investigation a roadside screening device was used. The driver was then transported to detachment for further testing.

As a result of this investigation Shay Kangro, 47, has been charged with operation while impaired.

The accused had their driver's license suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. The accused was released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on September 6, 2022.
