Atlético Ottawa claims top spot in CPL standings with win over Cavalry FC

Atlético Ottawa is now first place in the Canadian Premier League (CPL) after a 3-0 win against Cavalry FC on Sunday, Aug. 21. 

Ottawa's soccer club sits atop the CPL standings with 38 points and 11 wins, five losses and a five draws.

Keven Alemán, Brian Wright, and Ollie Bassett all scored for Atlético Ottawa.

Goalkeeper Nathan Ingham picked up his league leading seventh clean sheet of the season. 

Next up for Atlético Ottawa is a match against Forge FC at TD Place on Saturday, Aug. 27.
