OPP continues to investigate fatal crash on Highway 28 near Bancroft

The Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is continuing to investigate a fatal collision, east of Bancroft, Ont.
On Sept. 15, 2022, shortly before 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a collision involving two vehicles on Highway 28, near Belton Road. A passenger in one of the vehicles was pronounced dead and has been identified as Carole O'Brien, 68, of Denbigh Township.
The investigation into the cause of the collision is ongoing, involving officers from the Bancroft Detachment, as well as the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and Collision Reconstructionist.
