Cornerstone Housing for Women is hosting its fourth annual Purple Tie Gala on Saturday, Oct. 1.
This is the first time since 2019 that the event will be held live and in person.
“Given that the event is sold out, it shows that our community is excited to support Cornerstone and what they do,” said Joseph Cull, who is co-hosting the event, on The Sam Laprade Show on Sept. 29.
CityNews Ottawa's own Sam Laprade will be co-hosting the event with Cull.
The event is taking place on the rooftop of the Ottawa Art Gallery from 5:30 p.m. until 10 p.m. and includes an evening of music, connecting with old and new friends, delicious food, and hopeful celebration.
Last year's second at-home virtual gala raised over $100,000.
