Ottawa Little Theatre two-character comedy running until Oct. 8

By CityNews Ottawa

Anyone looking for some autumn entertainment need not look further than the Ottawa Little Theatre, which is running a new Norm Foster comedy until Oct. 8.

The two-character play, called “On a First Name Basis,” is about a novelist with writer’s block who realizes he knows nothing about his housekeep of 28 years, and over the course of an evening and a few drinks, he tries to get to know her.

Barbara Kobolak, director of the play, told The Sam Laprade Show on Sept. 28 that audiences love Foster’s stories, and this is the 18th play of his that the theatre has done.

Tickets for “On a First Name Basis” can be purchased by calling the box office at 613-233-8948 or online
