Ottawa man wins $90K jackpot in Poker Lotto All In

One Ottawa resident is $90,000 richer.

On Sept. 12, Denis Ouellet, a local restaurant industry worker, went all in to win the Poker Lotto All In jackpot worth $85,155.70.

He also won $5,000 on the Instant portion of his Poker Lotto play, bringing his total winnings to $90,155.70.

Ouellet said this is his first major win.

“When I saw Big Winner pop-up on the screen at the store, I was pretty surprised,” he shared while at the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up his winnings. “I think the store clerk was more shocked than me!”

He said his brother was the first person he told after winning

“He didn't believe me until he saw the ticket validation,” he laughed. “It's a pretty amazing feeling!” 

Ouellet said he plans to save his winnings. 

The winning ticket was purchased at Petro Canada on St. Joseph Boulevard in Orléans.
