Survey reveals over 50 per cent of kids will go trick or treating this Halloween

A new survey revealed just over 50 per cent of children in Ontario will go trick or treating this Monday, Oct. 31 for Halloween.  

According to a Halloween 2022 survey by Abacus Data, Canadian parents from across the country were surveyed and over 51 per cent of Ontario parents said their kids will be going to door-to-door collecting on Halloween.  

The survey also shows that over 43 per cent of adults in Canada will be opening their doors to hand out candy to trick-or-treaters this Halloween.

As for the best Halloween candies, Skittles nabbed the top spot while candy corn and licorice were surveyed as the worst Halloween candies. Kit-Kat, Reese's and Aero also take the top spots for the top Halloween chocolate and Twix was voted one of the worst Halloween chocolate.
