Ottawa Christmas Market cancels final day ahead of incoming storm

With another winter storm expected to hit the region late Thursday, Dec. 22 into Friday, the Ottawa Christmas Market at Lansdowne has cancelled its final day of festivities.

The market remains open for any last minute holiday shopping on Dec. 21 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Dec. 22 from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Environment Canada said precipitation may begin as rain or snow late Thursday (Dec. 22) before possibly transitioning to rain in many areas early on Friday. Dec. 23.
