Driver charged with drug impaired driving for second time this year

A driver was stopped for drug impaired driving on Highway 417 during rush hour Wednesday, Dec. 28, their second of the same charge this year.
According to the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), with a tip from the public and the assistance of Ottawa Police Services, Ottawa OPP stopped the driver and submitted them to a drug recognition evaluation (DRE) test, which are conducted at the police station.
The driver is charged with drug impaired driving.
