Winter storm warning ends for Ottawa

Environment Canada has lifted a winter storm warning that was issued for the capital.
The weather agency upgraded a winter storm watch to a warning on Jan. 12.
Ottawa is expected to receive between 15 and 25 centimetres of snow when it's all said and done.
The snow has forced the cancellations of schools buses across the capital, Smiths Falls and the Ottawa Valley, while travel plans for many people have been impacted.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers urged motorists to avoid all “unnecessary travel” in the Ottawa area due to the storm.
