OC Transpo warns of slow morning commute Thursday

By CityNews Ottawa

OC Transpo is warning transit riders to be prepared for a slower commute Thursday morning, Jan. 26, as the rate of snowfall picks up across the city.

With an accumulation of up to 20 centimetres expected over the next 18 to 24 hours, OC Transpo says they are working to keep platforms and bus stops clear and free of ice.

The transit service also said they “have a plan to keep tracks clear so that Line 1 can continue to operate,” in a Tweet Wednesday evening.

OC Transpo warns scheduled Para Transpo pick-ups could be delayed as well.
