OPP investigating collision on Highway 17

The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a collision on Highway 17 at Eldon Road in the Whitewater Region Township.

Officers remain on scene and the investigation is ongoing. As a result, the highway is currently closed between Turcotte Road and Mountain Road.

Drivers are being directed to use those roads to travel to Snake River Line around the closed highway. The highway is expected to be closed for several hours.
