Mayor, council members have been in office for 100 days

Ottawa's new mayor and council members have officially been in office for 100 days as of Thursday, Feb. 23, 2023.
Mayor Mark Sutcliffe said he's pleased with how the term has been progressing, so far.
“I think if you look at the list of commitments we made during the campaign for the first 100 days, we are doing pretty well on that list,” he said. “Most of the objectives have either been achieved or are underway.”
Mayor Sutcliffe said he's happy with the level of collaboration around the council table so far.
“I heard a lot during the campaign that there was a lot of dysfunction (during the last term) around city council,” he added.
