Father Daughter Ball returns for the first time since 2020

After a two year hiatus, the KISS 105.3 Father Daughter Ball is back with “An Enchanted Evening”, a gala evening of fun, fantasy and wishes fulfilled, comes to the Infinity Convention Centre at 2901 Gibford Street, on April 15.

The KISS 105.3 Father Daughter Ball is every little girl’s dream, a golden opportunity for daughters and their fathers to dress up, dance the night away and make some incredible memories.

Open to all children aged 6-12, tickets include dinner, dancing to live music, one alcoholic drink for dad, and a photo taken by a professional photographer for an evening fathers and their daughters won’t forget.

The KISS 105.3 Father Daughter Ball returns for the first time since 2020 when the annual event was cancelled due to the Covid pandemic. Tickets are $169.00 and are already 75% sold out. All proceeds from the KISS 105.3 Father Daughter Ball go to support the Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers for men. Every day, 67 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer; nearly 25,000 in 2022. It is the third leading cause of death from cancer for Canadian men and accounts for 20% of all cancer diagnoses.

The good news is that, thanks to research and aggressive treatments, the five-year survival rate for prostate cancer is 91%.

“It’s an evening that people talk about months after,” said Sandra Plagakis of KiSS 105.3’s morning show featuring Sandra and Chris on The Sam Laprade Show with guest host Derick Fage on Feb. 22. “We bump into people on the street that still talk about it.”

Plagakis said the event has become so popular, organizers have had to change venues.

“The event raises money for such a good cause,” she said. “It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Tickets and information for the KISS 105.3 Father Daughter Ball are available on the KISS 105.3 website at https://www.kissottawa.com/events/kiss-105-3s-father-daughter-ball/
