Motorcycle rider airlifted to Ottawa hospital after crash in North Glengarry

A motorcycle crash in North Glengarry Township has sent one person to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Emergency crews responded to a collision involving a motorcycle and passenger vehicle on Athol Road shortly before 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31.

The 52-year-old driver of the motorcycle was air lifted by Ornge Air Ambulance to the Ottawa Civic Hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the two occupants of the motor vehicle were treated on scene.

The Stormont Dundas & Glengarry (SDG) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) continues to investigate the cause of the crash with the assistance of Technical Traffic Collision (TTCI) and Reconstructionist officers.
